Hello
when I try to view my site I get the following error.
Forbidden

You don't have permission to access / on this server.
Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Can you tell me why I am getting this error?

1. Do you have an index.html in public_html ?

2. What does the .htaccess file in public_html look like ?
If it has a line:

Options All -Indexes

then, you will get a 403 - Forbidden when you try to access the directory unless you have an index page in the directory -- and the index page defaults to index.html (not Index.html, sites on *nix servers are Case Sensitive).

3. Can you access any of the pages on the site by entering the full url?

No I am not able to see any thing from the url when I go to it.
I checked for the file index.html and its not there any more and I tried to upload one and ftp one there and it will not go there.
everything was working fine till I tried it the other day and then started getting that error message and still getting it again.
