My SLQ Connect?

Hi,

I am not sure what to do, I have never had this problem before but when I try to access my site I get the follwing message

Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Access denied for user 'hose30_hose'@'localhost' (using password: YES) in /home/hose30/public_html/shoppingcart/catalog/includes/functions/database.php on line 19
Unable to connect to database server!

I haven't edited my site in a while so I don't think I done nothing, is it a global problem or just me?

If I need to do something will I loose all my database?

Delete the MySQL user, re-create it and reassign all the privileges to that database.
