MySQL 5.0?

Are we able to connect to the MySQL server from a computer using MySQL 5.0? I want to connect to my account's MySQL database because phpMyAdmin is confusing to me...

no the sql database is run on localhost server there is no external URL well that i know of anyway

MySQL servers don't connect to other MySQL servers.

If you have a STATIC IP I can add it to the firewall so you can use an external database instead of the one on your account.
