MySQL connection error, combined with Internal Server Error

I'm getting:

SQL ERROR [ mysqli ]

Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (111) [2002]

An sql error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact an administrator if this problem persists.

When I try to use my website (which I setup and was running fine yesterday) at glory.elementfx.com. It's on Starka, if that is of any significance.

There is also this:

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

It's rendered the site more or less inaccessible.
