Hello,
I just saw a problem with my CMS : Jooma, all worked fine last week but when I opened my site today I got an error message : "Echec de la connexion à la base de données" (in french) which would likely be translated as : "Database connection failed", and I wonder if it's a server problem ?
Thank you for all the attention you give to my problem.
(I don't think that the problem is a password issue, when I change the pass in the configuration file I get another message which is translated as: "Unable to connect to the database". It is different... and I have the same problem in wordpress and any other web based "programs" or script which uses mysql)

Are you using localhost as the host and did you give your database and user fill permissions?

The host is localhost
And the user have all permissions and a fortiriori : read and write ones.

I don't think that the problem is here...

Thanks for helping :).

Though it shows all permission just take it off and apply it once more. That might solve your problem

It worked! Thank you! Don't know what happened but unsettling all permissions and resetting them fixed the issue.

*Problem solved*
