Is it possible, for the free hosting accounts, to add in the control panel an option to backup the mySQL databases to a file on the server, or modify the phpMyAdmin export procedure in order to add an option to save the exported database as a file in the server, in order to download it later using FTP, instead of downloading directly the file to the user computer?
I think that would simplify the download of database backups

Thank in advance
Pedro.-

I believe this would be best under 'free hosting support'.

The short answer is - yes
BUT
while cPanel (not x10hosting Basic) has 'Backup' and 'Backup Wizard' features - they are NOT enabled on x10hosting's free-hosting servers

BTW - some of my other host now block all 'backup' files on the server [ e.g. no auto-backups with a CMS ]
