Hi.

I'm recently moving into web development and how I can use a database to interact with external sources (i.e., a game server). My account has a limit of 2 MySQL databases, but when I was browsing the Free Hosting's MySQL offer, I noticed that it said:

Almost all PHP driven websites can use a MySQL database to store data, this includes popular scripts such as WordPress, SMF, phpBB, and Joomla. Coupled with our free offerings of cPanel and PHP, you can easily set up databases that will power various applications. On top of that we don't limit your database usage like other providers, feel free to store as much data as you want or your site needs.

Does this mean that there is no limit to the size of each databases, or that we should technically be allowed to have unlimited databases? Or does it mean neither, and that there's just no limit to the bandwidth usage?

Thanks for any replies.

The databases and filesystem is for your site -- not a game server somewhere else.

1. Remote access to the MySQL server is not allowed. Period.

2. Use of your x10hosting account as a slave for an outside site is against the TOS and will get your account shut down with no, repeat no access to what you have stored at x10hosting.
