MySQL error, Borunew server (08 April 2010, 22:23 GMT+1)

Hello,

I've recently created a free hosting account (adfree-adfree) here on x10hosting.com, and am very satisfied with the service. But just now my MySQL database does not seem to connect to my site correctly.

I know that the Borunew server was moved to new datacenter, and that downtime in a part of that ofcourse. But after reading the message that they should be up, and this topic: https://x10hosting.com/forums/free-hosting/117609-help-mysql-error.html
I decided to make a topic of my own.

My website is Joomla based and contains a single MySQL database, according to the x10hosting back-end everything should be up and running, but when i connect to my website i get this error:



Database Error: Unable to connect to the database:Could not connect to database

my website is located at:

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try doing this:

Go to phpMyadmin through cPanel and use the Export feature to backup your database.

Go to MySQL Databases in cPanel and drop the user from the database but do not delete the user.

Reassign the user to the database giving all permissions.

The above worked for me.
