MySQL error [Stoli]

Hello. Today I realized that I get a MySQL error: "[mysql error 2002] Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket".

I wanted to reply to thread of another user which also indicated a MySQL issue, but I got a message that I have insufficient rights to post a reply...is it restricted to post other users thread?

This is known, there's an announcement about that as well.

Yes, in the free hosting section only users of a certain level and up can reply threads other then their own, for the reason you were gonna post. IT tends to get messy when someone thinks they have the same problem as the original poster and adds "I have this problem too" posts to that thread.

Further more it delays support because it may not actually be the same underlying cause for a seemingly similar problem.

Even this issue is closed in the Annoucements section, I have this issue in the different time of the day. Even though 8 hours I didn't have an issue with MySql, I have right now with errors #2006, #2016, and also had issues like 20 hours ago...
