Mysql error

Hi,
when i try to log onto my site all i get is cannot connect to mysql, i have made sure all the settings are right, but when i go into cpanal/error logs i get this messege:

[Sun Mar 16 11:07:05 2008] [error] [client 74.6.30.236] File does not exist: /home/gr38/public_html/robots.txt
[Sun Mar 16 11:06:18 2008] [error] [client 78.150.33.255] File does not exist: /home/gr38/public_html/favicon.ico

I have not changed anything so what could this be. if i have to create something, what do i do and how do i do it. Cheers

Those errors are normal.
Does the database and user exist, does the user have permission on it, and does the username and database start with gr38_
