Hi, I'm trying to get some info parsed to my mysql database and I'm able to change my table structure via phpmyadmin, but the changes dont seem to be effective. I've dropped fields, added some others and flushed tables, all this seems to work fine in the phpmyadmin, but when I use php to do a query, the database seems to be unaffected by all this changes.
This is the first time this happens to me. Could you please give it a look? Maybe a mysql server reload?

TIA

Your server is being migrated to a new machine.
Updates done through cPanel/phpMyAdmin may not be reflected in what is seen from the Web. Apparently changes are on one machine and the Web is being served from another.

I do not know if after the migration your changes will appear. It is best to put off any changes until the migration is complete.

Ok, thank you very much for the quick reply.

Will wait for the migration to be over. If it's not too much to ask, is there any ETA for this to finish? need to do some testings and would be awesome to be able to know when I can start.

TIA

i thought that the hosting servers were being moved, not the mysql server(s?) the old and new servers should still point to the same mysql server

Check the http://forums.x10hosting.com/service-alerts/ section and the http://forums.x10hosting.com/news-announcements/110021-latest-news.html thread for the most up to date info.

The servers are being moved to a cluster, I don't know the internal working of it, but I believe that all the databases are hosted on a dedicated mysql server, not from the current server, and things were.
