...do a visual inspection of a database without writing a program? That includes seeing what tables are created, the relationships, and the contents. There doesn't seem to be a way using cPanel. Is their some client software I could use?

Have you tried CPanel > Databases > phpMyAdmin ?

Actually, no it never occured to me, I just went for the stuff that said MySQL. :biggrin:

anyways, looks like phpMyAdmin will do the trick. At least now I know that my programmatic CREATE TABLE has failed. I guess I will see what it shows when I finally manage to populate some tables and create some relationships.
