MySQL Issues with IPB

I am trying to install IPB 2.3.1 on my server. However I create the database fine and everything... but when I enter the info in and everything I get this...

Access denied for user 'hoss212_fr'@'cossacks.x10hosting.com' to database 'hoss212_fr'

And I gave the user all privileges as well. Now I did have IPB before on my other x10 account and it worked fine. Also the user isn't coming up under the database so there MUST be something wrong with it...

Apparently MySQL is undergoing some difficulties right now. You can create a new database but you can't assign any users, or even connect to existing databases. Assigning users says it works, but it actually fails. Attempting to connect to existing databases yields MySQL error 1033 "wrong version of MySQL".

We have a support ticket open with Data Center. They are looking into the issue as of right now. So be patient. I just checked on the ticket and am still waiting to hear back from them.

There has beem word about the progress on the support ticket in the Server Announcements for a little while now I believe.
