mysql problem

[nis-gens]

the mysql database name may only be 7 characters long
so i cant create any database because my username is already 7 characters long :rant2:

i can creat a database that is longer then 7 characters
nisgens_php
but then it wont work

my username is of 8 characters but my database is working correctly....

suppose my username is 12345678
so i create database with word db
then actual database is 12345678_db....

Hi there,
Your username does not count as part of the 7 character limit.
Are you sure your database doesn't work?
