Hi

I have posted here 3 times - the last without comment.

My MySQL DB has been out of service since 17th March!!!

The last time I posted, I asked that admin did not close the thread - they did.

What do I have to do to get an answer?

And yes I have read the Corey thread - all I want is some sort of rough timescale.

Please try:

1. cPanel --> MySQL Databases

Current Databases

aaa_jo151 0.00 MB aaa_jo151 X Delete Database

Click on the user
Check ALL PRIVILEGES on the next screen
Click "Save Changes"

That should work.

2. Still no connection, check the software confinguration/settings file . It should set something like $dbhost to 'localhost'. If not, something like 'ini.chopin.x10hosting.com' , change it to 'localhost'

3. Still no connection, post back here.

Also, on an earlier thread you said the databases were missing. Do they show up in phpMyAdmin or mySQL Databases from cPanel?

Thanks for responding.

I have no databases!

There is nothing showing in myphpadmin or mySQL databases - it just says - there are no databases associated with your account!!!!!

So where have they gone then? I had about 9,000 contact records for various users and they have vanished!!

So...

connection isn't the problem - the source data is.

I have been a user here for over 2 years and never had this problem for so long.
