MySql Server for Drupal

Hi. I'm trying to install Drupal 7 but I can't get passed the database setup. The installation can't connect with the database. I'm using "localhost" as server.

Can you help? Please?

This is the error message I get:

Failed to connect to your database server. The server reports the following message: SQLSTATE[42000] [1044] Access denied for user 'vichofri_vicho'@'10.33.248.%' to database 'vichofri_caric'.

Manual install or via fantastico/softaculous ?

What error are you getting?

Are you sure you created database and user and connected user to database with all privileges?

Thanks for the quick answer descalzo. Manual install.

I couldn't see the user permissions, so I deleted the database and used the database wizard. THEN it gave me the option of setting permissions.

Shoot! Now I got this message. Have no idea what it means!!!
