I had a database and user, when i went to change the user permissions, my database and user dissappeared. Tried adding them back in without success... any ideas on whats wrong?

Not sure what happened, but while I tried to figure out what was causing boru to be slow, something started causing them to not show up.
Gonna try sorting that as quick as possible.
On a side note, for the accounts I have checked it seems that the databases still work, although they can't be seen in cPanel.

stupid question probably but, i am installing xoops and it asks me for the server hostname?
i used localhost and the user name i created but it tells me that it cannot conect to the database?

you are using the correct hostname.
make sure database is linked with database user. make sure your password is correct. Try deleting and re-creating database user.
