mysql

i have been trying for a while now to use wordpress blog. i uploaded everything, now when i try to configure and connect to mysql it tells me that it cannot connect to mysql database.
any help? thanks

Have you assigned the database to a user? If so, Have you set the permissions correctly? This can be done from inside cPanel.

yeah i assigned it to a user and gave it all privileges
