okay i was going to buy a domain at godaddy.com and i got all the way to

"If you're hosting these domains elsewhere, enter up to 4 nameservers below."
or
"Park my names at GoDaddy.com."

what do i put/choose?

Type in nameservers:
ns1.x10hosting.com and
ns2.x10hosting.com (dont worry about the other 2 spots just leave them blank)

how does it know to go to my subdomain when i put ns1.x10hosting.com and ns2.x10hosting.com?

Go to Addon Domains in cpanel, and make a subdirectory with ect. Try it with a thirdlevel domain BEFORE you buy a real domain so you can get the taste of it. It will be a subdomain but a domain hosted on it. It can't be primary, but I can always be wrong.

Setup Mail forward teamoab.com -> oab.x10hosting.com
Setup teamoab.com OK
Adding httpd.conf entry for teamoab.com to point to oab.x10hosting.com "

But it works! i dont get it....
