I have been able to access my public_html folder just fine using Nautilus ftp with login. I wanted to run a simple CGI Perl script, so I uploaded it and it did not run. Obviously, the first thing to check is permissions. Modified the Nautilus prefs to display permissions, but it says, "unknown".
So, I go through the cPanel tutorial, which mentions something called Web Disk, and for Nautilus to copy and past the URL into the address bar.
I did, and now Nautilus displays the message: "Not a folder."
What now?
I need to find a way to change permissions on these CGI perl scripts (in my cg-bin dir) but I'm buggered if I know how to do so.
Edit:
Ummmm...get a little help, here?
