Hi all,

Im designing a CD cover and I quite like a background such as the background on http://www.projectgazelle.org. Its this image (attached) repeated over and over. Im pretty sure you can use it to define a pattern or something like that. Can any Photoshop 'G' help me out? Also, I kind of need the background at 300 dpi so how can that be done?

Many thanks

save the image to your computer
open it in photoshop
go to "Edit>Define Pattern"
When making a new file there should be a resolution box
make sure it's on pixel/inches, change it to 300

When you have your document ready, simply press the effects tool in the layers box [it looks like a ying-yang symbol] and press pattern
select the pattern you just made and it'll fill up the background
