Actually my website is a community based one. So ppl will upload photos in gallery section.

I got only 300mb here to host my web.

so I need a space to store the images.

-----> the images should be directly accessed from my site.
-----> they should be public or private as per the members desicions
-----> i plan to install a gallery package here and the image db should be accessible thro this package. i.e. the db should be directly accessed by me.
-----> the gallery or photos or images should not be able to access directly other than from my site.

I think these can be achieved when i have extra space locally and extra DBs.

I searched a lot. many ppl are providing a huge space for image hosting, but they are not giving access to the db.

actually registered in one more site providing the hosting with no all facilities as get like here. but when i try to access their db from here, its resulting in error.

So could u plz tell me some good suggestions abt this issue. i dont want store images in my hosting space coz it will swallow my total space.

awaiting for getting good suggestions........

( sorry for my bad english :happysad:)

I don't believe that you can access a remote database from the x10 servers, maybe you should store the images elsewhere and then put the database on a x10 server? You have 3 MySQL databases if you have the addfree account.

I suggest you upgrade you hosting to an ad-enhanced plan; that would be the easiest way to go...
you keep everything local, and you have more B/W, and space

just use a database on your hosting account it will do the job.
I'll write you up a couple of scripts for it
