Need Color/Design Ideas

I have already done a draft, but looking at it again I missed one really big thing. COLOR.
so I am asking you guys for any ideas, design elements, whatever that I can incorporate color into it.
the people with the ideas I incorporate will receive a prize.

*do note that the cartoon animals at the bottom will not be in the production since I have not received permission to use for commercial use.

extra points to anybody that can find me the Chinese zodiac vectorized in a cute/cartoon-ish form

First of all, I would 'colorize' the top logo, probably in orange just as your titles.
And maybe I would make orange (too) the buttons on both top and side menus (even with a slightly more saturated orange for the hover effect on such buttons).

Another thing I miss is some text in the footer. Some links like 'Contact us', 'Sitemap' and so on. With the same 'more saturated orange' for the hover effect. Homogeneity is very important

when I took the idea to the client they wanted something more with the header and the background. so I am going to go with another design.
none the less, you did help out and deserve a prize.
