Hi there,

I was unaware of a password change done on the account due to the change over to Direct Admin for free hosting and made a couple of logins with the older password at https://x14.x10hosting.com:2222/ before I reached out to the main administrator to check the credentials. I was able to log into the dashboard with the updated credentials. However when I clicked on "Hosting Control Panel" from within the dashboard, I was directed to https://x14.x10hosting.com:2222/ which asked for login with the credentials, I tried a few times with the updated credentials there, but those were not recognized and my IP was backlisted.

Could the blacklist be removed, and additionally, are there any settings regarding privacy/cookies on Firefox where the "Hosting Control Panel" link will not ask for credentials again?

Thanks,

Jon

Hi,

I don't believe a forum account exists for the email tied to the service is in use by our organization. As I do not manage that (and as a result do not have access to) email. Creation of a forum account would be managed by another person, and as such would be coming from a different IP (that is not blocked) to the one that's being blocked by Direct Admin, judging by the response of other staff on how IP blocks are handled that would frankly be useless to what I'm trying to accomplish.

That said, I am open to other methods of verification via PM or other means to confirm that I do have access to the service that I am requesting this for. If policy does not allow for that, I'll just work around it.

Regards,

i believe what Eric is saying is that your x10 forum name does not match any x10- services to help you.
in order to assist you with your question you need to have a matching x10 forum user name.

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, I'm unable to do that until the next month.

I'll try again then if the need arises then. I have a workaround and already finished what I needed to do.
