Ok, forgive me for being a total n00b at this... I do not usually mess with dns, but I am trying it out.

I have a website hosted here on x10. (http://sf3soft.x10.mx)
I created 2 other free domains. They are http://sf3soft.co.cc and http://sf3soft.tk
I am trying to get the .co.cc and the .tk to point to x10.

I have already in the .co.cc and the .tk set the dns nameservers to ns1.x10hosting.com and ns2.x10hosting.com.

From what I am understanding from other pages and sites, the way to accomplish this is to setup them as addon domains in x10's cPanel? Is this correct?

I am trying to do this because I don't like the URL forwarding feature. All it does is create a frame that puts your website inside. You can't access anything other than the index page if there isn't a link to it somewhere on the page. I am trying to make it so that when you go to one of the other domains like sf3soft.tk and type in /thefileiwant.whatever, it will open instead of just displaying the index page no matter what is typed in.

Thanks in advance!

What you would actually want to do is park your domains so that they go to the document root of your account. On Free Hosting, you are allowed to park one domain, so in order to park the second one you'll need to upgrade to Prime. You can try using the Addon Domains feature to make the second domain seem like a parked domain, though this is something I haven't done or tried to do. The best way to get both domains working though, would be to set one of them as your Primary Domain from your Account Panel. This will remove the x10Hosting provided domain name, but will give you room to fit your second domain in as a parked domain.

Update: Well, DNS finally updated, and IT WORKS!!!!! YAY!

I am using the addon domain feature. One note: make sure you edit the entry with "Manage Redirection" and put your full domain in with a trailing slash "/".

I considered the parked domain feature, but I like all 3 domains, so I didn't really want to do it. I would have if the addon domain feature didnt work out. Thanks for the suggestion though. (I am so excited right now)
