I'm having a real crap month due to having borrowed money to family and other things going on, it's really screwed up my budget. I need to make it up, by about £400 and so I need a 2nd job or something! I'm already doing after-work studying and have exams in 2 weeks, and with this on my head it's just annoying. I have ideas for the odd little business venture but a) I don't have much time, and b) I just don't have the capital either!

Anyone got (serious) ideas for making the extra money up???

Yep, sell your junk for money!
If you need a job, use Monster.Com or if you see a "Hiring" sign, ask the manager of the place about it. Find a job that pays fine and isn't too stressful.

Yeh I think selling stuff on ebay sounds ok, as for a 2nd job - well lets just say the taxman will be rubbing his hands together waiting for that one...

I'd start by looking at your expenditure. Needing another £~400, needing a second job, and having loans from friends/family/etc means you're spending too much!

On what is the bulk of your money being spent on? Can it be cut back?

It's the other way round - I've borrowed them the money..

Sounds like you might need to call in your debts... Failing that, is there anything else you regularly spend money on that could be cut back?
