Good but....... I would suggest you look for HDMI inputs and HD support also, since it is fast becoming the norm.
Samsung has an HD range out.
Otherwise the specs look good.

BTW: you havent mentioned native resolution here. The maximum reso for LCDs dont hold to much... it wont run comfortably above its native reso.

An LCDs native resolution is the same as its maximum resolution.

Usually, but some manufacturers print different values.

My friend had bought a veiwsonic 17" long ago. The dealer said 1600x1200 max, but the native turned out to be 1280x1024.
So i thought idd mention it, after all forewarned is forearmed.

Another catch: Veiwsonic claims a 3ms response time, but its a grey to white time. So you have got to watch out there also. Response time should be measured for a black to white transition.

5 ms response time is pretty slow if you want good high end gaming.. 2 ms is recommended. However, I still personally prefer CRTs, as you don't have to worry about response time, just sometimes adjusting the refresh rate

I prefer LCDs because of their small footprint, low power consumption, and they're easier on the eye.

At current exchange rates, thats only £85! We're getting ripped off!

Though, you can't really tell much from foreign currency really. Its a decent monitor, about the same as the one i'm using now! Except mine has speakers, but I don't use them anyway.

Btw, whoever said you need HDMI doens't know what they are talking about. You can easily get converters from HDMI to DVI and vice versa. Also, unless you want to watch Blu-ray movies that have the ICT flag (image constraint token) enabled, you don't need to worry about HDCP (high definition content protection) either.

Oh and whats the model number? We could find more detailed specs that way.

I use the same model but a little bit different. It works awesome. It costs about 220$
