Never want to do a Backup

Hi,

Every time I want to transfer my files via FTP to my computer, the server stops transferring and I cannot get access to my site for more than 15 minutes. (Others still can)

I would simply like to make a backup of my files without this happening, is this possible?

What FTP client are you using?
Make sure you disable "Multiple connections", as it seems the Firewall is temporary banning you for opening a lot of connections.

You should try to find it yourself ¬¬. As I've CuteFTP too, I can help you in this case.
Go to Tools > Global Options > Connection, change Global Max Concurrent transfers & per site max concurrent transfers.
Also go to Tools > Global Options > Transfer, and When selecting a MAX(...)
