New Account Trouble

Hi,

I just tried establishing an account and while I can sign onto the forum, I am unable to log onto the main site and begin creatign a web page. I seem to be in an endless loop where it says either my user name or pw is not valid. Can anyone help?

Are you able to log in to your cPanel? And are you aware that your cPanel username and password are different than your forum log-in info, which may be the source of your problem?

I can log into forums but nothing else...my user name is not recognized. Then when I go to re-register all over again, it says my e-mail address is already being used. I was in the process of registering (step 10) when i got some kind of illegible error message saying something like my pw could not have the same letters as my user name. Now I am in bad loop. How do I get someone in tech support to help clear things up? thanks

by clicking support at the right of this page and creating a support ticket at the next page you get

Did you go through the sign-up process here: http://x10hosting.com/freehosting.php ? I can not see a hosting account linked to your forum account.

Yes. That is EXACTLY where I went to establish an account. I got to step 10, received the confirmation e-mail at the e-mail account I provided. Then, the first time I logged on, I got some kind of error message. I believe itsaid somethign to the effect that my user name and pw were too similar...but I'm not sure.

The "loop" I'm in is that it now says my e-mail account is already taken (I assume by ME) if I try to establish a new account (i.e., start all over again) but yet it does not recognize user name when I try to log on.

with the users name and password of the forum here and then change the cpanel password?
