New to X10.

Hello I'm new to all this, im fairly good at using dreamweaver as long as im given all the login FTP information. It at the moment isn't and I am just curious if I am filling in a field incorrectly or does this message mean

"Your hosting account is currently pending creation. The current status of your request is shown below."

That I cant do anything yet?

Your account hasn't been fully created yet. Make sure that you confirmed the email that was sent to you. Afterward, you will be able to connect to FTP using the settings provided inside cPanel. (to lazy to copy them here :biggrin

Yea, i confirmed that a few hours ago, what the general turnaround for activation?

I activated the account through the activation email. THe account still says pending. I assume since it wasnt instant there is a wait period for it to be activated. How long does this period normally take or did i merely miss a step.

Once you create your account, it'll take a few hours for your account to become fully activated. If it isn't available by around this time tomorrow, file a support ticket using the official support system.

I think you can, basically you not allowed to hosting illegal or porngraphy stuff, you can't do file hosting. you might want review the ToS.
