Newbie seeking design advice

I am starting a new website about rental properties in Tijuana Mexico.

I am going to be posting dozens of new properties daily.

Should I create a database for the entries or use an excel spreadsheet and save as a webpage then upload? Or?

I am already familliar with excel but that won't allow my visitors to sort the entries online. At least not that I know of.

I would advise using some sort of database. It will probably require a bit more work on your behalf but if it's well designed and written it should scale well and be easier to maintain in the long run.

Yup, go for a MySQL database.
It's easy to learn, too.
