News and update manager?

Is that site using any kind of software for their news and updates? If so, what is it?
Pretty much, does anybody know of any software or easy script I could use to get an effect like that, which is free?

Try using the free www.cutephp.com - it's actual name is CuteNews, skinnable, catagories etc.

Or if you prefer one that is more 'professional' (in my opinion anyway) try www.fusionphp.com - variety of scripts, developement pretty dead though.

EDIT: for one that integrates with forums search your forum softwares mod database.
