The W3 Total Cache plugin for WordPress has the following 2 options in General Settings -> Miscellaneous:
- Enable file locking
Not recommended for NFS systems.
- Optimize disk enhanced page and minify disk caching for NFS
Try this option if your hosting environment uses a network based file system for a possible performance improvement.
