no ads are showing up

I added the ads code to the top of my page, yet nothing is showing up.

I just have to put the following code:

<script type="text/javascript" src="http://x10hosting.com/adserve.js?vehystri"></script>

on my page for them to show up, no?
Or am I missing something crucial?

Hi,

The ads are on the page but the ads are hyper links that are the same color as your background.

oh, so should I change the background color, or can I leave it like this then?
