i have tried to access my site today about 20 times, all of which have failed because the page cannot be displayed and the apache server seems to be offline. If you could help me it would be dearly appreciated :S

Well, that's encouraging for me to know. I checked my site just a second ago and got a "forbidden" error page. I was unable to view my website because the server is rejecting the IP of my client. I tried restarting my DSL box to get a new IP address assigned to my router WAN port but to no avail.

Hopefully x10 will get this fixed and will put up a post-mortem for everyone with respect to this problem. Rest assured that several people are experiencing connectivity problems out here as well.

The "forbidden" error usually mean you don't have the permissions set right on the files you have uploaded and has nothing to do with your IP
