No operation at all possible in cPanel

Dear Sirs,

I cannot update any file neither through FTP nor cPanel. I view the file tree properly, but cannot open or download any file at all. Also I cannot upload.

Can you please help asap? I have to update my site before a live show where a lot of people will attend live.
