No password reset email Recived (There was an error transferring my account)

i have been reading other threads with the same case as mine and i have followed the instructions from Garrett Royce: (There was an error transferring your account)

1. Make sure your forum password is secure. It must have 1 uppercase letter, 1 lowercase letter, 1 number, and 1 special character. If your password is not secure, change it now: https://community.x10hosting.com/community/account/security

2. Sign up for a new account. Use the email address you use here for the forum. Also provide your forum user name and forum password.

3. After receiving the verification email, please post here so we can associate your hosting and the account just created.



now that i have recived the verification email i wonder if you cuould help me to associate my hosting and the account just created.

Thank you for reading the forum; it definitely helps a lot. This error happens for a lot of reasons though, and users should NOT do this until they have confirmation from the admin team.

It appears though that you somehow were lucky and this was the actual reason. The website would have stopped you from signing up if you were wrong though, so maybe not all luck?

Anyway, you should be able to log in using the email and password you provided at the site https://x10hosting.com/panel . You should see your service on the dashboard. You can change your DirectAdmin password by clicking the button that says "USER @ X##" and then the change password button. You can use the old password if it is a strong password.

I didn't know that I was so lucky not to have lost all my account information.
I really did it thinking that it would save a bit of work for me and you.
Either way, from now on I will follow your kind recommendations.
