I opened an account at techbob62.x10Hosting.com yesterday (4/9/08). I also completed the process to allow me to work with the forums. I received a welcome message from the forums, but not from the host (so to speak).

Whenever I try to log in to cPanel as techbob, I get a message stating user does not exist. I thought I may have messed up the application for the hosting so I went back and tried to re-register. Of course, this was not allowed, as I already am registered...

I have browsed many of these forum postings, but nothing appears to deal with this. I was reading that the process is basically immediate. Well, not for me. Did I do something wrong in the registration process?

Tried that yesterday too, before posting the initial message. This is what I get -

"An Error Has Occurred
No hosting account signup was found with the username that you specified. It is possible that the pending, unactivated signup was removed from the queue, so you may need to sign up again."

I am using the techbob username, which is what I used when I digned up for the techbob62.x10Hosting account.

Did you complete the sign-up process? I don't see an entry for 'techbob' ever submitted. Not in the error log or anything.

Can you go here: http://x10hosting.com/logout

Then sign-up again and see if it works?

As far as I know I did. I can't get to a "logout" page. It redirects immediately to the x10Hosting home page.
