Not able to establish FTP connection !!!

Hi !
Im not able to use ftp to upload files ! Everything was going fine but now when I try to connect it says "Unable to make a connection. Please try again" I was uploading my site through "Dreamweaver" and it disconnected in the middle and when I tried to upload again, its not even able to connect ! I've tried filezilla, cute ftp aswell but no result !
But im able to login using web disk ! I don't want to use it, I want to export my site directly through web builder !

Please reply ! Its urgent !!!

That's probably a firewall problem. If you upload too many files at once the server blocks you (this sometimes happens to me when deleting, I then am completely blocked for 10-15 minutes). Check whether you can reduce the number of connections that your FTP software makes to reduce the chance of this happening.

But my site has lots of pages and I update most of them in about every week ! But the site builder has an option to upload only updated pages, on the other hand if I save all the files on desktop and use ftp client to upload, then I have to upload everything everytime I update !

I did not get the lotus server thing.....

This is how i connect ftp
host : mydomain.com
username : cpanel
password : cpanel password
Port : 21

Yes, I'm also having the too many users problem on lotus. Generally, you have to wait for some people to stop using FTP, but I also can't access my cpanel...it's just saying loading.

Will this downtime affect the currently being downloaded files by visitors ?
I mean if the download has started then the download will break in the middle ?

Shouldn't do, that is not using ftp, that's using http.
