I just created a website today and it said that I needed to upload files inorder to view it. Well, I uploaded a forum system and some other files and it still isn't letting me view the site.

My site is supposed to be: http://www.briarheartforums.x10.mx but instead it redirects to the x10hosting, page not found page.

Can you please fix this?

Thanks so much!

I can see your site. It sometimes takes a little while for the system to update itself for new domains.

Please remember to clear your browser cache and history before viewing your site. You may have to add ?fooo to the end of the URL for a bit if your ISP is caching content for "efficiency" (the ?fooo forces caching routines to get fresh content ).

I can view it with adding the ?fooo at the end of the URL but I can't view it by just viewing the normal. Thanks!

Hello,

Please clear your browser cache, flush your DNS, then restart your browser, then try again. The ISP cache should be gone by now. If not, you'll just have to wait a while for it to be cleared.

Thanks.

I'll try that but I can still only visit the site with the ?fooo at the end. Also, my pages take forever to load. Does this have anything to do with that?

No, that's likely just server load. Free hosting speeds are very dynamic.

Is there any way I can speed it up? Do I have to buy a domain name or anything? I know another person who made a forum off of this host and then he got a domain name and his pages load very quickly. Also, now when I go on my site, it says that the page is currently unavailable.

You could try CloudFlare, or upgrade to premium. :)

I have recently started using CloudFlare, (free version at the moment), and I am VERY pleased with the service.
Greatest thing since sliced bread in my opinion.

CloudFlare can now be activated in your cPanel. Use the CloudFlare button under "Software/Services".

It's free. Just click on it, and it should be self-explanatory from there.

I don't think so. Maybe a "Welcome email" but I haven't had any others.

I tried to activate it but it won't work. I put in the email and everything that was needed... I think. Can someone please activate it for me? Thanks!

Hello,

CloudFlare can be accessed and activated via the cPanel module.

I know that it can be activated there. I already activated it. It's not working though. There is supposed to be a cloud like a different color but it says when the cloud is gray then it is not activated and the cloud that shows up is gray and it is not activated for my site. I kept clicking it and it still isn't there. It says you are meant to click it or something in order to turn it on.
