not letting me create email account

hello! i'm new to web hosting and have tried using the cPanel to create an email account but it unfortunately isn't letting me...

i've definitely filled out all the fields correctly, but i either:
a) receive an error message "The mailbox quota type field is required." despite filling it in with 5MB

or if i try putting unlimited mailbox quota

b) the page refreshes but the account is still not created

any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance!

I cannot duplicate this issue with my account on xo7.x10hosting.com. What server are you on?
I also tried Googling "The mailbox quota type field is required." but the only thing that was found was this thread.

hi, thanks for the response!
i'm on the (name).x10.mx server

not sure if this is relevant to add but when i first created a test email account after setting up my domain it was successful, but i ended up deleting that email since the account was literally named "test@(domain).x10.mx" and it was when i tried to remake another email account that i started getting the errors

update: the account creation went through! i switched the cpanel theme to x3 (no scripts) and it let me create an account successfully!

update 2: nevermind... i got the success message, but when i went back again to check it still says "the system did not find any accounts" (see attached images)
