My account keeps getting suspended. I am giving up, this isn't usable, waste of time. Sorry to say, but true.

what for? High resource usage I suppose? You can always upgrade to paid if that is a problem. Else be happy with what you have. If you want tips on reducing resource usage just come to the forums and ask. x10 free hosting is very good.

I was just trying to set up wordpress, this is the second suspension in a week. I have no idea "what for".

Like I say, I would rather just move on. I want to cut my losses (time wasted).

"You can always upgrade to paid if that is a problem. Else be happy with what you have." No thanks. Can't use what doesn't work.

Just trying to set up wordpress. Using too many resources for that?

Anyway, reminds me of the old "bait and switch", because you claim to have good features, but simply uploading plugins for wordpress exceeds bandwidth allowed? Get real.

If you read the suspension reason you'd find the complete lack of the word "bandwidth" - there are quite a few Wordpress plugins that are horribly coded and utilize way too much cpu/ram for a free service to allow them to continue stabily.

One such plugin is WPRobot, which is why it was added to the terms about 2 months ago under Auto Generated Content:

* Auto Generated Content: Sites that use scripts to automatically generate content are prohibited, this includes but is not limited to AutoBlog scripts and anything else that automatically generates websites for SEO or other purposes.

That's likely what's causing the suspension, unless it's the Site Map Generator for Google which has been known to cause it at times as well. It doesn't help that you've got some of the MultiUser stuff set up too - that's not exactly easy on performance.

For the record, high resource usage suspensions are caused by CPU and RAM, and not for short bursts - we're talking extended periods of time for a script (30-60 seconds - no script should be over a full core for that long and be allowed to continue anyways), and NOT bandwidth.

Information as to what is going on is always good - had just assumed that it was from uploading via ftp exceeding tiny amount of bandwidth.

I will remove the offending plugins and try again. I would like to keep the multisite enabled because this will actually be less resource intensive than creating more wordpress installations.

thx
