If you are upgrading your phpBB3 installation or doing a clean install of phpBB3 with version RC6, please read this.

Due to some problems with the bbcode system change resulting in forum rules, descriptions, group descriptions not being parsed correctly, as well as conversions not being possible we may release RC7 today to fix these problems. We will try to provide two different update packages for you, to be able to update from RC5 to RC7 and RC6 to RC7.

Luckily, to detect these issues, we have the release candidate phase.

Because some may have missed it, within this topic we noted some common problems you may have while updating.

In other words, they are recommending that you do not use RC6 until all the problems in it have been fixed and RC7 is released. Therefore, if you are experiencing an issue with your phpBB3 RC6 board, it may be because of one of the software bugs, and not with x10hosting. If you do experience a problem with phpBB3 RC6, please post it in topic in the phpBB forum by clicking the link above.
