Sony eh...rootkits anyone? I refuse to buy anything from Sony. ive skipped the latest Bondfilm, just because of Sony. Greedy people imho.

but the problem is that my country s*cks, i hate chile ¬¬ is the worst country, only poor people without culture and "a woman as president :O" , only unhappy people, everythink is expensive, a play station 3 worths u 1500 dollars(no joke) my 2mb bandwith worth 150 dollars!!! people gets bad salaryes thats awesome, i cant belive that i still living here :S

(also our spanish is bad, we speak somethink like spanenglish xD)

lol, spanglish. Your english is pretty good. Better than most english peoples. Did sony maybe say that the product was grey list? If so then they wont support a warenty on it. Other wise as far as I know there isn't a sony product without one.

Nevertheless Sonys defense were quite sad. ""Most people, I think, don't even know what a rootkit is, so why should they care about it?"

And eventhough you could have it disabled, they still were there and that is my point.

And Sony released an "uninstaller" and that itself unmasked the rootkit, but did not uninstall it. Also you needed to give out your email to a bulk email list to Sony to get the uninstaller also it installed another piece of software that could not be uninstalled. Also a ActiveX script needed to be installed and itself contained backdoors.

In other words: Why buy products from a company that has so much disrespect for their own customers? I know i won´t.

That's great =) You'll love it here. I don't know if Chile is like Spain, but Spain was horrible compared to here, as far as the things you were complaining about. Not to mention graffiti on every wall around (and not the nice graffiti either).
