If anyone here knows or plays maplestory in the current time then you should probably know about the Odin vs Nexon case. Here are some threads about the current situation now.

According to a new OdinMS news entry, the prosecutor's office of Saarbrücken has confiscated all Odin servers, computers, and the Odin blog has been taken down.
The problem now is an issue of privacy, since the servers have logs of IP addresses which Nexon could use to get individuals.
This is somewhat related to the Viacom Vs. Google case since all history of what people do can be seen by the people who confiscated the servers. Thus, there is an issue of privacy here.

As you probably noticed the OdinMS blog has been down since July 21st 2008. The reason for this is that all our computers, including servers, have been confiscated by the public prosecutor's office of Saarbrücken.
Please understand that on our lawyers' advice we can't go into too much detail here. We will try to keep you informed about the proceedings as much as possible.
Since the lawsuits ahead of us will cause us a lot of financial trouble we decided to accept donations. Please note that like always you won't get any compensation for your donations. They will be used to cover the expenses of traveling, consultations with lawyers and similar. They won't be used to pay any fines or the like.
If you decide to donate you can do so below. After choosing the currency you will be redirected to PayPal and prompted for your desired amount.
