Official 503 Error Thread

Hi All,

We've been in contact with our software vendors regarding 503 errors popping up in some cases for users. We're most likely going to have to downgrade some software, a change that will not be noticeable to you the end user as it's mostly backend.

What I need from you (users) is to please post in this thread if you are experiencing the 503 issue on one of your pages. *PLEASE* include the page so I can verify that it is fixed or can work on fixing it. I will remove the link from your post after the issue is resolved so it's not here forever.

I have this problem on my website. However, it occurs quite randomly.

For example, sometimes I can access the wordpress plugins section and sometimes it gives me a 503 error...

I have this problem for 5-6 days at login in the admin panel of my website: Removed URL

After entering username and password is loaded page "503 Service Unavailable ...", instead of the homepage of the admin panel.

I have spotted the error on 2 pages so far.

Both pages involve grabbing content from an external site.

Hi Corey,

I can access the dashboard of my website, but still there are some parts that shows 503 like the post-new section and log-in/register section. The site also shows 503 when a user log-out. The widget section are also malfunctioned (it is not showing complete list of widgets and its completely dis-alined).

If the page that is throwing the error is in an admin area that requires the user to be logged in, how is Corey supposed to see/verify it?

Everyone that has posted so far is on Lotus. I have just finished working on it and the things that I can verify are no longer throwing a 503.

Can users that have posted here verify if they're still receiving 503 errors?

Everything works fine now. Users side too are already fixed and working.

Users are no longer complaining about getting a 503 error, thanks for the fix!

Now I'm getting a disk full error with FTP lol

We'll take care of that today.

In my troubleshooting I had to shut some stuff including quotas.
