Well this is really an off topic post I think, but I would like to rant a bit, and ask some futile questions.

Well, I was doing research for a friend today trying to find some good paid host. He is designing a site for a business, but wouldn't be offering hosting, so I thought it'd be a good idea to have a list of good suggestions for them to look at. It would look good for him to have a good site design with reasonable prices and have a nicely compiled list of either pricing and plans, or at least the sites of good paid host for them to look at and decide where they want to go.

Well, after hearing so many good things about x10 and knowing that it is reliable, I checked here only to find not one single paid plan. Is this true?

I don't know why I am really so shocked. It is great that they offer only free hosting plans, but usually most companies will have some paid plans so you can get better features and resources at a small price(since businesses will pay for their hosting, as they want the most reliable and best hosting package).

I guess x10 has replaced paid hosting with their advertised hosting. So rather than pay for your higher plans, you simply advertise for x10. Truely innovative and genius.

Pssst: OBJECTION!

http://x10hosting.com/services

Right now I see Static Paid, Advanced Paid, and Corporate Paid right at the top of the screen.

It's under Services, NOT Hosting, since companies generally consider stuff you pay for that isn't physical (like website hosting) to be a Service.

Sorry to bust up the rant party :)

Nah, you aren't really busting up my rant at all. I'm actually glad you found that. I was looking for paid x10 hosting anyways. Plus you may notice this was a rant with some 'futile questions', and so you were really answering my futile questions rather than busting up my rant.:)

And you know what, now that I see this page, I do remember seeing it once before but then another memory is of some TOS. Ahh, here it is [http://x10hosting.com/termsofservice]. That page says that the 'Advanced & Corporate Plans' are required to have ads on their site, as this is x10s main form of revenue. Now I would guess they mean the 'Ad Enhanced' plans, and not the paid ones?(they both use the same names: Advanced and Corporate)

And now that someone has found this, could I ask if there is a comparison page? More like this one [http://x10hosting.com/hosting/adenhanced] for the free ad enhanced packages. This is simply so when my friend displays all the options, he can show all the features of x10 so it can be better compared with their other options.
