I have setup opencart 3.0.2.0 and eventually got the "contact us" and "order confirmation" working in the free hosting plan. Unfortunately after a week or so after rechecking the site the contact us form says it is sending email but nothing ever arrived and I also never receive a order confirmation email. I am using the "mail" setting not "SMTP" as I believe that the SMTP is unavailable on the free plan. However the mail setting were ok for my needs.
As everything was working and I have not updated the site in anyway I believe that the problem is on the x10hosting side of things and not the opencart side. After reading many many threads i have read that it could possibly be that the email if being block by x10hosting spam filter..Could this be true and if so how do i get around this.
I have used email addresses that I own and are hosted on zoho mail and also tried to setup an email through the cpanel on the site and both have failed.
Could someone from x10hosting help please.
