I added a second domain name so I could have 2 different websites to work on as I'm taking 2 coding classes simultaneously. bdistler helped immensely in getting the add-on domain. However, it doesn't work. It is a folder in my main public_httml with my primary domain site. When I open that file, the contents I need are there. I go back to my hosting home page and open the tab for my domains. I click on the second name and it says they cannot connect to a site. Do I have to do something with the Redirection under the setting wheel for that name?

That's not a real domain.

I think I missed a step in linking the ashki21.com to x10hosting website. I used ashki21.com when asked for a domain name for a second domain. I don't have a second one established. That's what I'm trying to do. I'm a newbie at all of this.

ashki21.com is not a registered domain. You need to register/purchase the domain from a domain registrar and then change the name servers to ns1.x10hosting.com and ns2.x10hosting.com
