out of discspace suspended - wrong

i tried to upload a SMALL background, and it didnt work. so i tried again. did not work. and again. nope.
And now i get this error message:

The filesystem mounted at /home/m4ts on this server is running out of disk space. cPanel operations have been temporarily suspended to prevent something bad from happening. Please ask your system admin to remove any files not in use on that partition.

So i'm asking.
Can you help me?
